Technomate 1080p HDMI DVB-T RF Modulator V6

Introducing the TM-RF HD IR, now in its 6th generation.

With IR (Infra-Red) over the same coaxial cable, you can control your source from other TV(s). It also has an HDMI Loop-through to split the video to a local TV, saving on the cost and space of a 2-way HDMI Splitter.

Any HDMI Source

Connect any HDMI device such as a Satellite Receiver, CCTV DVR/NVR, Blu-ray player, TV Box, etc and watch in crystal clear Full HD 1080p over a coaxial RF system.

Can be used in existing RF Aerial systems

If you have an aerial system, the cable infrastructure is the same and already set up. There is no need to run any new cables to distribute HD signals around your property. You just have to connect the aerial directly into the RF Input of the TM-RF HD IR V6 and then connect the RF Output to your distribution amplifier or aerial splitter. Please note, TV(s) must be 1080p/4K (HD Ready is not compatible).

Control your source device from any room

The RF IR (Infra-Red) technology allows you to control your source device from any TV using the same coaxial cable. It includes an IR Transmitter to be placed in front of the source device and an IR Receiver ('Magic Eye') to allow remote control from another TV. Watch on Multiple TVs

We recommend a mains powered amplifier/splitter, also known as a bypass amplifier/splitter, to send the 9V IR remote control signal to control the source device via remote control at every TV. The Technomate TM-4 AMP B and TM-8 AMP B are compatible for up to 8 TVs, other brands up to 16 TVs. Additional Infra-Red Receivers ('Magic Eyes') are also available.

For non-IR systems, Passive (non-powered) Splitters can be used.

Minimal Delay

The fastest in the industry at less than 0.8s delay from the HDMI device with IR control. If using for video only devices such as a CCTV DVR/NVR system, this can be reduced to less than 0.5s making mouse movement delay faster (please contact Technomate Support for further details).

Crystal Clear Picture Quality

1080p Full HD 60Hz at its best, giving you the same picture quality as an HDMI cable.

International

Apart from the UK Channel 21-69 frequencies, the TM-RF HD IR is also compatible with all UHF international RF systems.

Connect Multiple Sources

With IR: Cascade up to 3 TM-RF HD IR V6 in one system. This requires a Passive DC Splitter to be used back-to-front as a combiner to combine up to 3 modulators with IR. For example, 3 modulators will require at least a 3-Way Passive DC Splitter to combine the 3 modulators (to the Outputs of the Splitter) and the Input to be connected to the setup described in 'Watch on Multiple TVs'.

Without IR: Cascade up to 30 TM-RF HD IR V6 in one system (from the RF Output of one modulator to the RF Input of another modulator). This is ideal for hotels to show different TV channels, such as having up to 30 Satellite Receivers showing up to 30 different channels available on all TVs.

To make cascading even easier and save time, you can upload the data to a USB device and configure the settings on a PC for each TM-RF HD IR V6 and then download those settings back into the modulator.

Installation Notes:

Compatibility: please note that this only works on 1080p Full HD & 4K UHD TVs. If the TV is 720p HD Ready, it will not work. The TM-RF HD IR V6 has been tested with many devices such as SkyQ, SkyHD, Virgin V6, BT, Blu-ray Players, Playstation, Xbox, Media Players, etc and there are no issues.
